Corporate partnerships are individually tailored to meet the requirements of participating businesses. Some or all of the following exposure items can be incorporated to an agreement.
Radio
Richmond athletic contests are broadcast on the Spider Sports Network, with five stations around the state. In Richmond, the flagship station is WRNL-AM (910). Coverage extends as far as Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, the Northern Neck and Petersburg. Eleven regular season plus any postseason football games and 28 regular season plus any postseason men's basketball games are broadcast. Also broadcast are a selected number of women's basketball and baseball games as well as conference tournaments for these sports. All broadcasts are also aired live on RichmondSpiders.com and your ads will air on this UR radio feed all over the world. Our internet broadcasts are archived so fans can go back and listen to their favorite games anytime!
Event Signage
Back lighted scoreboard signage is available at UR Stadium and the Robins Center. Additionally, signage for football is available in both end zones. The Robins Center is equipped with rotational Dorna signage adjacent to the benches (and in full view of television cameras!) as well as back-lit media row signage and banner opportunities. Your message will be highly visible, not only to thousands of fans in attendance, but also in regional television and print coverage.
Print Marketing Opportunities
Put your ad in our game yearbooks handed out free at all UR football and men and women's basketball games. Ads are half-page or full-page. Each yearbook is personally handed to patrons as they enter our venues and includes a game-day color poster with updated rosters, statistics and information on the teams.
Also available is sponsorship on our popular schedule cards. These cards are printed three times during the academic year - for the fall, winter and spring sports seasons. These cards are distributed widely on campus and throughout the community and are mailed to season ticket holders, donors and alumni.
Individual Game Sponsorships
Exclusivity may be provided for individual game sponsorships for all home athletic contests. Involvement may include the following: television, radio and print advertising, banner display, message center and public address recognition, giveaways, pre-game and halftime visibility.
Television
A significant number of University of Richmond football and basketball games will be aired on the A-10 television network. Games are to be determined and will be carried by eastern cable networks, including Comcast Sports Net, the Empire Sports Network, Fox Sports Pittsburgh, Fox Sports New England, Fox Sports Ohio, NESN and Madison Square Garden Network. Thirty-second spots are available for these selected telecasts. The Spiders also appear on ESPN and ESPN2.
Ticket Packages
Corporate season tickets, which include preferred seat locations, priority parking, and hospitality events, are available for football and basketball. Group ticket events, including pre-game meals and entertainment, are available for larger corporate outings.
