Indoor: Posted her season-best in the shot put at the Liberty Invitational of 11.92m... Her season-best mark in the weight throw of 15.11m came at the A-10 Championships where she finished eighth... Was 11th at the A-10 Championship in the shot put (11.06m).

Outdoor: Named the Spiders' Most Outstanding Rookie Field Performer... Was one of four Spiders to earn a spot in the NCAA Regional Championship, qualifying with a gold-medal-winning mark of 38.41m in the javelin at the A-10 Championship... Was 10th in the hammer (41.19m) and 11th in the shot (11.72m) at the A-10... Set a school record mark of 44.62m in the discus at the Duke Invitational... Her hammer throw of 44.52m at the Georgia Tech meet was also a team-best mark... She won the discus (44.36m), took fifth in the shot (11.79m) and eighth in the hammer (36.51m) at the Fred Hardy Invitational.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner on the track & field team... Finished her prep career as the District, Regional and State Champion (145' 10") in the discus, setting a new district record... Named to the Academic All-Ohio Team... Set Wilmington's record in the discus her junior and senior years... Was the state runner-up in the discus as a junior... Also earned All-Ohio, All-Region and First Team All-Conference that year... Was the Conference and District runner-up in the discus as both a freshman and sophomore.

Personal: Born June 17, 1989... Daughter of Darryl and Yvette Howard... Her sister Ashley is a member of Winthrop University's track & field team.
