2007-08:
Indoor: Just a freshman, Koroma posted the team's best mark in the weight throw of 16.24m at the A-10 Championship and just missed the school record of 16.43m set by Beth Crocus... Also threw the shot and had a season-best performance of 11.86m come at the Liberty Quad... Turned in a fourth-place finish at the A-10 Championship in the weight throw (16.24m).
Outdoor: Used the Fred Hardy Invitational to post Richmond's best shot put mark of the season (12.22m), which was good for fourth place... Was second on the team in both the discus (37.00m) and the hammer (42.47m)... Finished ninth at the A-10 Championship in the shot (12.09m), ninth in the discus (35.92m) and 11th in the hammer (40.74m).
High School:
Lettered all four years for indoor and outdoor track & field... Served as the team captain as a sophomore, junior and senior... 2007 High School Indoor All-American in the shot put... Two times the Virginia state class "AAA" and Northern region champion in the shot put... 2007 state runner-up and Northern region champion in the discus... A four-time Patriot District Champion and 10-time All-District and All-Region performer... Threw personal-best performances of 43'04.5" in the shot put at the 2007 Patriot District Championship and 133'11" in the discus at the 2007 Annandale High School Invitational.
