Results

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Seniors Kevin Rhue, Diane Schreiber and Julee Wilson of the men's and women's track and field teams turned in strong performances in day one of the NCAA Regionals at the University of Florida, yesterday.

Rhue (Virginia Beech, Va.) finished seventh in his heat of the 1500M run with a time of 3:54.08. His overall performance landed him a 21st-place finish in the event.

Schreiber (Johnsonburg, Pa.) propelled the hammer 158-11 feet (48.43M) and claimed seventh place in her flight, 30th overall.

Wilson's (Chester Springs, Pa.) 17-11 (5.46M) leap in the long jump placed 10th in her flight and 33rd overall.

Today senior Tim Caramore and freshmen Beth Crocus and Lindsey Smith compete in the 3K Steeplechase and Javelin, respectively, with competition resuming at noon and finishing up at 9:30 p.m.
