LOUISVILLE, Ky, - The Richmond cross country teams continue the postseason portion of their schedules Saturday with the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship at the University of Louisville.

The Spiders are looking to bounce back after the women took sixth and men took eighth at the Atlantic 10 Championships two weeks ago. Saturday's race in at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville begins at 11 a.m. ET for the men (10K) and 12:15 p.m. ET (6K).

Junior Nicol Traynor led the way for the women at the A-10 Championship with a seventh place showing to earn All-Conference honors for the second-straight season. Junior Tim Quinn was 12th overall on the men's side and also garnered All-Conference accolades.

Last season, senior Matt Llano (who is redshirting this season for Richmond) became the first Spider in 29 years to clinch a spot in the NCAA National Championship thanks to his seventh-place overall finish at the Southeast Regional.

Traynor's 14th-place finish was tops for the women. Both the men's and women's teams raced to eighth-place finishes at the 2008 Regional.

Stay tuned to RichmondSpiders.com Saturday for a complete recap.
