2009 (Sophomore): Played in just three games... Received a medical redshirt after missing the majority of the season with an injury. 2008 (Freshman): Was forced into a starting role in the middle infield as a freshman due to injury... Started 45 of his 50 games played and batted .256... Led the team in stole bases (11)... Improved his average to .270 in conference play, leading the team with 20 runs scores... Was fourth on the team with 18 RBI during A-10 play... Had eight hits and five RBI over a five-game stretch late in the season... Drove in a career-high three runs twice (vs. Xavier and George Mason)... Scored a career-high three runs versus Temple. High School and Personal: Batted .413 as a senior and .447 over his prep career for Hickory (N.C.) High School... His team reached the state final four in 2005...
