Email: jfrostic@richmond.edu Joe Frostick is in his fourth year as the Spiders' volunteer assistant coach. Frostick will assist with the outfielders and day-to-day operations of the baseball office. Frostick came to Richmond prior to the 2006 season after five years coaching at Douglas Freeman High School and the Post 125 American Legion squad in Richmond. The Henrico High School graduate played one year of both football and baseball at North Carolina in 1973-74. Frostick's father, Douglas, played both football and baseball at Richmond. The elder Frostick's football coach was Ed Merrick, while his baseball coach for the Spiders was the legendary Mac Pitt. Frostick, a native of Richmond, Va., has two children, Whitney and Blake. He and his wife Charlene were married last spring. |
