Pitched one inning with two strikeouts each of scoreless middle-relief in wins over Niagara and Iona. 2008 (Sophomore): Pitched in 20.2 innings out of the bullpen... Owned a 6.53 ERA... Yielded just three earned runs over his final six appearances of the season. 2007 (Freshman): Made 10 appearances and totaled 8.0 innings pitched for the season ... Pitched a scoreless inning, with two K's against William & Mary. High School and Personal: Spent his first three years of high school baseball at Gates County High School in North Carolina before ending his high school career at Greenbrier Christian Academy in Virginia... Finished his high school career with 14 wins and 134 strikeouts in 78 innings of work... Played in the World Wood Bat Tournament for the Tampa Devil Rays squad out of Chesapeake, Va... Was named All-Conference as a junior, after captaining the squad and turning in a 4-2 mark with two saves... Struck out 58 in 34 innings before being selected to the North Carolina East-West All-Star State game as a junior...
