• Phil Ruzbarsky Photo Gallery 2009 (Freshman): Played in 45 games as a rookie and made 40 starts in left field... Hit .341 over the final month of the season and his .290 average in A-10 play was fourth-best on the club... Was tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week on May 4 after hitting .571 (four-of-seven) with a homer, double, three RBI, four runs and a stolen base as the Spiders took three of three from Temple... Was 10-for-10 in stolen bases... The three-run homer in the fifth inning of the opener versus Temple -- his first collegiate blast -- stood as the game-winner in a 7-6 decision. High School: Was an All-District and All-County selection as a senior... Helped lead his team to the State 3A Championship as a junior... Played in the Brooks Robinson High School All-Star Game at Camden Yards this past summer and tripled in the game... Was a Second Team All-County selection as a junior...
