2009 (Junior): Played in 34 games and made 26 starts, splitting time behind the plate with freshman catcher Chris Cowell... Hit .262 overall (.262 in A-10 play) with seven doubles and was three-for-three in stolen bases... Matched his career-high with three hits against Seton Hall and Duquesne... Finished in the Spiders' top-three in nearly every offensive category... Batted .317 on the season to tie Billy Barber for the third-highest on the team... Led the team in doubles (18), tied for second in home runs (six), second in RBI (41) and third in hits (58)... Led the Spiders with 27 two-out RBI... Batted .348 (23-for-66) with runners in scoring position, which was second on the club... Picked up a season-high five RBI in the Spiders' season-opening 23-16 win over UNC-Wilmington... Homered twice and drove in five runs over the first two games of the Temple series... Launched a two-run homer in the first inning to start the scoring in a 5-0 win at Dayton on April 25... Walked 19 times, drew 10 hit by pitches against 32 Ks for an on-base percentage of .410 (third on the team). 2007 (Freshman): Batted .238 for the season, but heated up in conference play and posted a .290 average ... Split time at catcher with Coogan ... Belted his first career homer against Virginia in Charlottesville ... In a big win over Saint Joseph's, he went three-for-five with three RBI, a run and two doubles. High School and Personal: Earned three baseball letters from Monacan High School in Richmond, Va... Was a two-time All-District and All-Metro Region selection following his junior and senior seasons... Served as a captain of the baseball squad as a senior, helping the team to a 20-5 mark overall and a Dominion District regular-season Championship... Stehle also helped the 2006 Monacan squad to a Virginia Group AAA State Championship... Was the starting catcher for American Post 186 during the 2006 summer... Helped the squad win District, State and Region Championships to earn a berth in the American Legion World Series where it finished third... Hit .410, driving in 45 and had eight homers in 40 games with Post 186 during 2006... Was named the American Legion State Tournament MVP in 2006... Earned Top Prospect status from the Perfect Game at the 2006 Atlantic Coast Showcase in Chapel Hill, N.C... Broke the Monacan school record for single-season RBI with 29 as a junior and finished the 2006 season with 25 in 25 games...
