UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Sophomore second baseman Ben Zeskind went 3-5 with three RBI and two runs to lead the University of Richmond to a 12-5 win against Quinnipiac (0-1) this afternoon at Pitt Field.

In the first game of a three-game weekend set, Quinnipiac captured a 3-0 lead in the first, on three hits. Lead-off batter Wilson Matos doubled to left field and scored on a Brien Magee single to left field. Kevin MacIlvane then doubled in two runs.

Later, senior Bobby LeNoir (Wilmington, Del.) doubled to left-center, allowing freshman Matt McKenna (Richmond, Va.) and senior Chris Dolan (Holmdel, N.J.) to cross the plate.

Board started off the inning with a triple to right center field and then David Thomas (McLean, Va.) walked, to put runners on the corners. Dolan belted a two-run double to right field. Zeskind then knocked his second double and second and third RBI of the day. Fasano's single up the middle and scored Zeskind.

After the Bobcats scored their final two runs in the top of the fourth, Fasano tallied his fifth home run, of the season, when he blasted a homer over the center field wall in the bottom of the seventh. McKenna later singled to score Josh Farkes (Boston, Mass.) to make it 12-5 after seven.
