UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - A number of Richmond baseball players are spending their summers playing for collegiate baseball leagues across the nation. Here's a look at where they are and how they've fared thus far: Cape Cod League (www.capecodbaseball.org) Valley Baseball League (www.valleybaseballleague.com) Stephen Owens (New Market Rebels: www.rebelsbaseball.biz) - Owens, who also played for New Market last summer, tossed 5.2 innings in his last start, allowing no earned runs with two strikeouts to pick up a win over Woodstock. He was on the short end of a 4-1 loss to Luray in the season-opener, but went the distance with 12 strikeouts in nine innings in a 3-1 win over Staunton. He allowed just five hits and two walks in the compete-game win.
