2008: Selected as one of four senior captains. 2007: Second Team All-CAA Football selection... Regarded as the conference's best blocking fullback... Crone helped pave the way for former Spider, now Arizona Cardinal Tim Hightower's All-American season that saw him shatter six single-season school records... He finished the season with 12 catches out of the backfield for 88 yards... Amassed 40 yards on three receptions in the NCAA First Round win over Eastern Kentucky at UR Stadium... The multi-purpose Crone also collected 69 yards on six kickoff returns and had two tackles on kick coverage... Played in all 14 games as a junior although battling through a number of nagging injuries. 2006: Made appearances in nine games and caught a career-best two touchdown passes in Richmond's 58-7 win over VMI... Those were his only two receptions in the game as he totalled 34 yards... Caught two more passes in games against Bucknell and Rhode Island and corralled three versus William & Mary... Missed time with an injury. 2005: Helped an offense which scored 349 points on the season, second-most all-time at Richmond... Was part of an offense which averaged 381.3 yards a game, ranking 41st in the country... Helped the Spiders to a total of 4,957 yards on the season, most-ever in Spider football history... Played in all 13 games, logging five starts... Finished the season with a total of 35 rushing yards and 128 receiving yards... Carried the ball eight times and hauled in 13 catches, one for a touchdown. 2004: Redshirted. High School: Earned Defensive Player of the Year for his region as a senior... Also earned All-District and All-Region as a junior and senior... All-Arlington County on both sides of the ball for head coach Bruce Hanson... Earned three letters and served as team captain... Honorable mention All-Met in 2003... Led team to second round of state playoffs... Rushed for more than 1,000 yards... Was on the honor roll for three-straight years...
