Men And Women's Golf Teams Have Moved Into State-Of-The-Art Practice Facility

RICHMOND, Va. - The Spider men and women's golf teams have completely moved into the University of Richmond golf facility, and are taking full advantage of all of its amenities.

The men and women's golf teams have used the range, short game areas and putting greens for the past two years, but the former Ben Hogan Testing Facility has undergone renovations, making it one of the premier college golf practice facilities in the country.

Head men's coach Adam Decker and head women's coach Leighann Albaugh have moved their offices to the facility, giving Spider golfers the opportunity to use the facility at any time throughout the day.

A new weight room designed specifically for golfers is up and running and Spider golfers can now use state-of-the-art video analysis equipment to work on their swings, while hitting out onto the range.

Each player has a locker and the facility includes showers and a kitchen. A lounge has coaches and a flat screen TV, along with a board room table to do school work.

The interior renovations complement the facility's range, where players can hit on natural grass or when the weather is not as cooperative, retreat to the heated and covered tees. The range area also includes putting greens, sand traps and plenty of room to work on your short game.

The University of Richmond Golf Practice Facility, located just a short drive from campus, gives Spider golfers everything they need to succeed.
