
Men's Soccer Opens Atlantic 10 Play At Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio - The Richmond men's soccer team opens Atlantic 10 play Friday night against Dayton at 7 p.m The Flyers are 6-2-1 entering conference play, having won four-straight games. Dayton has won all five games it has played at Baujan Field this year and has a 16-game unbeaten streak (13-0-3) at home dating back to Oct. 28, 2006. Senior Florian DeCamps leads the Flyers in scoring with four goals and 10 points. He is tied for sixth in the Atlantic 10 in goals. Richmond leads the all-time series with Dayton by a 4-1-2 margin. The Spiders, who have lost three of their last four games by one goal, are led by four different players who each have scored two goals: senior Scott Loesser, sophomore Jake Russell, senior Brennan Lincoln and freshman Ben Brewster. Loesser leads the Spiders with six points having also dished out two assists. Richmond will finish its road trip in Ohio with a visit to Xavier on Sunday at 1 p.m.
