PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Richmond men's soccer team will look to get back on track when the Spiders head to Philadelphia this weekend to take on Temple on Friday and Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

The Spiders are 3-7-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the Atlantic 10 after a 1-0 overtime loss to George Washington last Saturday. Richmond has had trouble scoring since winning the opener against a strong Villanova squad 2-1.

"We're out to overcome adversity this weekend," Richmond head coach Jeff Gettler said. "Our play has been a little bit down, we haven't scored in the last four games and we haven't won a road game all year, so we're looking to change that.

"Training has been fabulous this week and the team's attitude has been unbelievable," Gettler said. "We're hoping to put in two great performances and get two positive results."

The Spiders play at Temple on Friday at 1 p.m. and then at Saint Joseph's on Sunday at noon. The Owls are 4-5-1 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic 10 after a loss to Saint Joseph's on Saturday. The Hawks are 2-7-1 overall and 1-0 in Atlantic 10 play.

Richmond returns home on Oct. 26 when it hosts nationally ranked Saint Louis at 7:30 p.m. at First Market Stadium.
