UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond scored just 4:03 into Sunday's match with Miami of Ohio, but the RedHawks scored five-straight in a 5-1 victory at Crenshaw Field.

For the second-straight day, the Spiders took an early lead in the game's opening five minutes, this time on an unassisted goal by junior Dani Pycroft.

Unlike Richmond's 7-0 win over Monmouth on Saturday, it was the visiting RedHawks (4-3) who followed the opening salvo with a barrage of goals, taking a 3-1 lead at the half and then adding two more second-half goals to win their second-straight game.

The two teams each took 13 shots, but Miami was able to convert on five. Richmond goalkeeper Jacki Raithel made six saves in net.

The Spiders return to action on Wednesday when they travel to William & Mary for a 6 p.m. start.
