Final Stats

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Richmond women's soccer team fell to host Charlotte 4-0 Friday night. Sophomore goalkeeper Melissa Pacheco collected a game-high five saves in the net.

Charlotte's first tally came just six minutes into the game when Whitney Weinraub netted a goal from Hailey Beam. One minute later, Weinraub struck again on a touchline cross pass from Oni Bernard.

"We were beaten by a very good Charlotte team," said head coach Peter Albright. "We had several strong performances. Both Natalie LeClair and Kristin Runey had very good games and Lindsay Wicher had a big impact off the bench. We are hopeful that we can earn the opportunity to play them again."

Senior Kristen Stalter led Richmond with two shots.

The Spiders travel to Saint Louis Sunday. Kick-off is slated for 2:00 p.m.
