University of Richmond, Va. - The Spiders play their last home game of the year Friday night versus the George Washington Colonials. Six seniors will be honored before the start of the game. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.

Richmond (9-6-1, 3-5) is coming off a 1-0 loss to the Saint Louis Bilikens Sunday. George Washington (7-9-0, 3-5) is coming off a 3-0 loss to league-unbeaten Charlotte.

"This is a big night for us, " head coach Peter Albright said. "We are still in the hunt for the A-10 Championship, and this is a must win game. It is our last home game, and our farewell ceremony for our seniors. We have had a great week of training, and I expect a strong performance from the Spiders."

The last meeting between the two teams resulted in a 3-2 victory for the Spiders. Sarah Hilt, Jen Ruhe and Melanie Varga all netted goals for the Spiders in the win.

"GW has a very scrappy side," said Albright. "They bring a lot of energy to the game and fight very hard. This is always a tough game, and the league standing only heightens the importance of this game."

The Spiders travel to VMI Sunday. Kick-off is slated for 3 pm.

Live coverage, including game tracker and free video streaming on SpiderTV, will be available for the game.
