7/25/08 Richmond Hires Diane Maiese As Diving Coach The seven-time Atlantic 10 Champion Richmond Swimming & Diving team has announced the hiring of Diane Maiese as its new diving coach. Maiese joins head coach Matt Barany's staff after a successful five-year run in the same position at La Salle where she was named the A-10 Diving Coach of the Year five times.
6/29/08 Katie Sieben Shines Sunday At U.S Olympic Swimming Trials University of Richmond swimmer Katie Sieben missed reaching the semifinals in the 100m fly by less than a half-second, but the sophomore set a long-course personal-best time of 1:00.38 on Sunday afternoon as action began at the 2008 U.S Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. Sieben's time was the 26th-fastest in the 137-swimmer event.
