Richmond Hires Diane Maiese As Diving Coach
The seven-time Atlantic 10 Champion Richmond Swimming & Diving team has announced the hiring of Diane Maiese as its new diving coach. Maiese joins head coach Matt Barany's staff after a successful five-year run in the same position at La Salle where she was named the A-10 Diving Coach of the Year five times.

Katie Sieben Shines Sunday At U.S Olympic Swimming Trials
University of Richmond swimmer Katie Sieben missed reaching the semifinals in the 100m fly by less than a half-second, but the sophomore set a long-course personal-best time of 1:00.38 on Sunday afternoon as action began at the 2008 U.S Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. Sieben's time was the 26th-fastest in the 137-swimmer event.

Spiders Thrilled For Shot At U.S. Team
This summer, two University of Richmond athletes hope to mix red and blue (their school colors) with red, white and blue (the color scheme for Uncle Sam). Katie Sieben and Lauren Beaudreau are ready to dive into competition at Omaha, Neb., site of the U.S. Olympics trials, June 29-July 6.
