4/1/01 Spiders Place Fifth At 2001 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships The University of Richmond, under head coach Carole Mitchell, finished fifth in the overall university standings at the 2001 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships at the Midtown Aquatic Center in Newport News, Va. Ohio State was the overall champion, with Stanford placing second.
