SPIDER STUDENT WINS $1000 AT XAVIER GAME!

A Spider student made her spring break a little easier to afford by swishing a free throw worth $1000 during the second half of Wednesday night's game with Xavier!

Spider students wearing their RED Spider T-shirt, could be randomly selected from the student section during a first half timeout to take one free throw. Make it - and win the money!! Miss it, and SPIDER MONEY increased by $100 dollars, and someone was selected during a timeout in the second half!

Once a free throw was made, the amount went back to $100 and we started all over again! We shot for SPIDER MONEY twice during every men's home game. We had an $800 winner at the GW men's game and a $100 winner at the Temple women's game!!
